From Red Spices to the Red Planet

About the talk: Spices: The Forgotten Superheroes India is the highest Spice Producer and Exporter since centuries. In our daily diet too, we use many spices. But do we study them in our curriculum? Do we understand the wonderful benefits of spice consumption? They help in boosting our immunity, improving the cognition, controlling the gut microflora, besides having anti-cancer and anti-microbial properties. I’ll discuss about our Tadka and Garam Masala spices with modern research perspectives.
